Pivotal Big Ten match-up will be played in front of capacity crowd at Assembly Hall
Champaign, Ill. – The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics announced today a sellout crowd of 16,618 for Sunday’s home game vs. Wisconsin (1 p.m.). It is the first sellout this season at the Assembly Hall. The 22nd-ranked Fighting Illini enter the contest with a 15-4 overall record and tied for second in the Big Ten at 4-2. The Badgers, meanwhile, are 15-5 on the year and 4-3 in conference play.
Tickets are still available for Illinois’ five remaining home conference games against Michigan State (Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 6 p.m.), Northwestern (Sunday, Feb. 5 at 2 p.m.), Purdue (Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 7:30p.m.), Iowa (Sunday, Feb. 26 at 5 p.m.) and Michigan (Thursday, March 1 at 6 p.m.).
