PG Michael Orris Commits To Illinois
"Crete-Monee senior point guard Michael Orris committed to Illinois on Sunday.
Orris, a 6-foot-3 point guard, chose the Illini over Boston College and Nebraska.
"Illinois just was right," Orris said. "It's an hour and a half from home. It's the Big Ten. It's playing before 15,000 people. The family atmosphere they have there is tremendous. Going to Coach [Bruce] Weber's house and seeing the entire team and seeing how he interacts with the whole coaching staff was great."
Another solid recruit by Weber and the staff. Things seem to be trending up in Champaign.

You get a lot of point guards . . .
and inevitably you can have some guys who can become shooting guards with PG skills. For example, the triumvirate of Williams, Brown and Head.
The more, the merrier. I like it.
Fight Club writer for the print edition of St. Louis Game Time . . . I need another beer.
The Throwdown Lowdown Report, only on The Bluenote Zone.
And I can also write things in 140 characters or fewer.
I'm always a big fan of stockpiling talent.
Guys with talent and a good work ethic always find a way on the floor.
