Basketball? I don't know anything about it. All I know is that today is February 14th, the day where you do something special for your lady, buy her an ass load of chocolate and forsake all distractions tht may come between you and your loved one. Do sports count? Oh you damn well better believe it.
So crack open a bottle of wine, get yourself a heart shaped box of gamble chocolates, and and enjoy yourselves.

what he neglects to mention is that we invented half the student section techniques that everybody uses

The fact that he asks if OK ever meets discredits his entire article
it is the most organized student section in America. they have meetings and practices and stuff
Actually, you probably ripped most of them off from Duke
Because everyone did. (And those that didn’t get ripped off from there have probably been independently invented numerous times.)
I do admire the Krush for the fundraising they do. But I’ve been to Assembly Hall many times (grad student at UI for a couple years), and I wasn’t particularly impressed. A couple of big games (the Gordon game, MSU last year) managed to match the intensity of a normal conference game in the Izzone; the rest were mediocre. There’s a real argument that the Krush isn’t in the top 3 in conference (MSU, Wisconsin, Indiana, maybe Purdue too) – though that’s probably still good enough to get them top 10 nationally.
So this pirate walks into a bar with a steering wheel in his pants. Confused, the bartender asks “Hey bud, why do you have a steering wheel in your pants?”
“I don’t know” the pirate says, “but it’s driving me nuts!”
