Big Ten Media Days: The Plan

So as I have said before, this is my first rodeo, so plans are of course subject to change and or derailment, but this is the plan so far. I will be posting all days here on the main blog starting at about 9am or so. Ron Zook does print, radio and televised interviews from 10:15 to about 11:45.

Any news events or breaking stories will of course go up here. Be sure however to follow the twitter feed on the right hand side of the screen. I should be posting here all day long as well.

SBN will have its tentacles all over the Big Ten Media days, as Adam Hoge of Bucky's 5th Quarter and Dave from Maize n Brew will also be there, asking inappropriate questions about the personal lives of athletes.

Frankly I might be in over my head on this one, other than this blog, the closest thing to "real journalism" was my stint as an editor on my High School newspaper (the regionally renowned Line O' Type!) But I am sure the media titans like Bob Asmussen and Loren Tate will either kindly welcome the expanded Illini coverage that I provide, or break my computer for trying to break into the racket. Either way it should be an exciting couple of days. See you in Chicago.

Hey go for it! I’m rooting for you. Glad your in the mix there! We need good Illini and Big 10 bloggers representing! I would love to hear what Zook has in store offensively this year? Does he think Juice is a potential Heisman candidate? What will it take to adjust to the growing trend of the spread offense in the Big Ten to shut them down? Who does he anticipate will contribute significantly from the incoming class this year? Whatever you write on I’ll enjoy reading!

I second everything CFC said.

You are a far braver man than I. Looking forward to some good stuff.

In the words of Rick James . . .

“ENJOY YASELVES!”

Anyway, if you catch up with Coach Zook, it would be interesting to find out how he’s able to fit as much intensity into one day as he’s able to do.
