Around SBN: The Pros and Cons of an 18-game NFL Schedule

I’m hearing Frazier has been up front about the possibility he would pursue an overseas gig "if the money is right," he told me recently. At least one franchise has offered a contract, and he’s informed Weber of the situation.

Well, considering what kind of money you make as a grad assistant (not much, trust me) It is hard to turn down $50.000 to play the sport that you love, even if it is in Turkey or Israel or something. I hope he sticks around for a little while longer though, because I think having him as a coach would be invaluable to Weber and the team. Good luck to him either way.

Especially with

the young guns coming in, it would be nice to have his experience to show them the way. I really think that having a guy who was just on the court like Chez can prove invaluable to the coaching staff with how he can identify with the players.

Money talks . . .

bullshit walks. I’m totally unopposed to someone making a living for themselves. So if that’s what The Spazz chooses to do, that’s what he does. But yeah, it’d suck if he did.
