Around SBN: Off Tackle Empire interviews Rich Rodriguez

A call to arms, all ye would be bloggers.

So, I will be perfectly honest here. Running a blog is hard. Most of the other blogs around SBN have many authors and a contributors, but as you may have noticed only my name is listed at the bottom of this page.  All summer long, my day job has prevented me from being at the computer for breaking news and has perhaps prevented me from giving the blog as much attention as is necessary. Soon though my summer job will end and I will go back to toiling hours in front of the computer instead of learning or working. Hopefully this will cut down on the glaring mistakes and errors that occasionally make their way into my posts.  Regardless though, this is blogging on a much larger level than my old independent blogspot, and I aim big.

This is where you come in. Any and all Illini fans are welcome to contribute their opinions on the team, news or anything Illini related here on the blog. Write fan posts and fanshots, and if you think I can do something better around here, let me know.

Eventually I would like to have enough of a contributing readership to make this blog as successful a community as BHGP or BSD. So to all of you who want to contribute, please do.

I could be an overaged summer intern.

But just because that’s about the only time each year that I’m not swamped like crazy at work. As you could possibly tell by recent comments.

If I find stuff, I’ll post it, but I don’t actively seek it right now honestly.

Hey, sorry I've been gone for awhile.

I’ve been really busy with summer work, but once that ends in a couple of weeks, I’ll be back to bask in the glory that is the Fighting Illini.

When I wrote that.

It didn’t seem nearly as sad and pathetic as it does today.
