"How excited has things been with the success of the season you guys have having?"

Ugh.

I saw her (I guess her name is Jillian Jesk) last year when I was working for the DI and interviewing Brit Miller. This girl interrupted me mid-question to ask some of the most vapid, vaguely-worded questions I’ve ever heard. As she did here. Also notice the lack of follow-up questions in this particular “interview”.

I’ve met plenty of nice, talented women working in sports and media in my time, but she is clearly not one of them.

Also: big thumbs-up to Jeff Jordan this season. Bonus points for deducing that Jesk had no idea what she was talking about (“Chester Frazier — he’s our starting point guard…”).

Hey dude, if you used to write for the DI

please feel free to write your own thoughts on the team or anything Illini, I’ll put it up on the front page, and I want as much fan participation in the blog as possible

My brother wrote for it for, like, two minutes.

Does that count?
