Yeah I know its lame, but what can you do? Real life and all that stuff gets in the way of the much more fulfilling and enjoyable watching and blogging about sports. It really is too bad too, because I spent two years at Northern Illinois before transferring down here to Champaign. DeKalb, and its two great drunk eateries Burritoville and Lukulos. still hold a soft spot in my heart and a hard spot in my arteries. Thus, I would enjoy nothing more than seeing the Illini crush the Huskies at both ends of the court. So...
Me failing to shun real life in order to go to a basketball game makes Bruce Weber feel:
An emotion we interpret as: Sit your ass down on press row and cover that game like a man! And show me some hustle. Move! You gotta keep moving! MOTION MOTION MOTION!
Sorry Bruce, I don't mean to disappoint.
That doesn't mean you still shouldn't show up for the open thread though, you don't have any excuses.
