Rejected Ideas for the Land of Lincoln Trophy

Its Northwestern week, and you know what that means....

With the Sweet Sioux Tomahawk somewhere out there in the ether never to be seen by human eyes again, the institutions of Northwestern University and the University of Illinois have taken it upon themselves to create a new rivalry trophy for the football programs to pretend they give a damn about.

In a  bureaucratic masterpiece that could have only come from the great state of Illinois, the new trophy was chosen from among 4 equally watered down and unexciting options and then put to a vote online. The winner? The Land of Lincoln Trophy, or LoLTrofy for those in the know.

To date, I have been unable to find any real photos of this mysterious new trophy that no one really cares all that much about, but the description certainly does tantalize the imagination.

Wow, we will be playing for a hat on a piece of wood, I can feel myself already getting PSYCHED UPPPP!!! Given how truly dull this trophy is I have taken it upon myself to redesign and reconceptualize the LoLTrophy from the ground up. Here for your considerations are my submissions.
